The story of Jack.
Capt Jack Sparrow was originally the Captain of the Black Pearl until he was marooned on a deserted island. He miraculously got off the island and wound up in Port Royal, where he met Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner. After the fantastic sword play between Jack and Will, and after being in jail, the Black Pearl showed up, captained by Barbossa, after having been called by Elizabeth's mysterious medallion. Elizabeth was "captured" by the crew of the Black Pearl and was taken to Barbossa. When Barbossa asked for her name, she gave Will's last name instead of her own.
Will freed Jack, commondeered the Interceptor, and both went after Elizabeth. Jack bluntly told Will about his father, William "Bootstrap Bill" Turner, being a pirate. Will didnt believe him at first. Elizabeth was informed by Barbossa about the medallion being Aztec Gold and the curse on the ship and the crew. She was taken to Isla De Muerta to lift the curse by using her blood on the medallion. Meanwhile, Jack and Will found a crew in Tortuga. They caught up with the Pearl at Isla De Muerta and Jack was taken captive. The Pearl caught up with the Interceptor, a battle took place, ending in the Interceptor's destruction. Will was captured after having come in contact with Elizabeth and the medallion and figuring out it was him they wanted not Elizabeth. Both Jack and Elizabeth were marooned on the same island Jack was marooned to before. Elizabeth and Jack got drunk on the rum that Jack had found the first time he was on the deserted island. The next morning, Jack woke to find half the island was in flames and the rum was all gone. Needless to say, Elizabeth's madness got them rescued by Commodore Norrington. Elizabeth fought to save Will from Brabossa. They headed toward Isla De Muerta.
Barbossa took Will and the medallion back to Isla De Muerta to lift the curse. The Black Pearl was taken over by it's rightful crew. Elizabeth, Will, and Jack fought off the cursed pirates and, after lifting the curse, killed Barbossa, for good.
Jack was taken back to Port Royal to be hanged. The Black Pearl returned as well, to retrieve it's rightful Captain. Will saved Jack, with a little help from Elizabeth. As Jack returned to the Pearl, Will and Elizabeth confessed their love for each other, ending in a kiss.
